While naturally thick brows enhance some faces, there are others where nothing works better than thin, extremely plucked eyebrows. From Pamela Anderson and Angelina Jolie in the 1990s to Gabbriette and Amelie Gray today. It may be a beauty choice that strongly divides opinion into two completely opposing camps, but one thing is certain: thin brows give the face an exceptionally striking look, ideal for those who want to be unforgettable at all times.
Unlike clean girl thick brows, which communicate neatness and naturalness, thin brows carry a certain dose of nonchalant boldness. But before you decide to make them your signature look, there are a few things you need to know so they do not become the beauty mistake of the century. (Heavily plucked brows do not grow back easily.)

A mistake from the past we no longer repeat is overdoing it. The difference between then and now lies in control. Today, brows are shaped deliberately in line with the symmetry of the entire face, which you can easily assess based on the position of the nose and the angle of the eye.
Thin brows require balance. If you have a small forehead, a round face, or hooded eyelids, thin brows can help balance other facial features. If your features are softer, consider keeping a hint of fullness. The modern version of thin brows does not have to look overly plucked.
Use small scissors and tweezers only for individual “stray” hairs. Focus on the lower arch of the brow and leave the thin edge slightly curved downward to maintain a sharp look. Be prepared for your brows to require daily attention as well.

Before shaping, cleanse your brows with micellar water or a gentle facial cleanser. When the hairs are softer, they are easier to shape. That is why it is best to carry out your maintenance routine after cleansing the face. After shaping, care is essential, even with very thin brows. Hydration with an oil or brow serum preserves the hairs and prevents unwanted breakage and further thinning.
A thin shape does not require much effort when styling, but a light sweep of brow gel to keep them in place all day, as well as filling in with a pencil where needed, always comes in handy.

Thin brows are not for everyone. They are ideal for those who like to express their confidence openly and boldly. If you opt for this shape, wear them thoughtfully. Do not pluck them without a return plan.
