Getting Ready for Laureus World Sports Awards: Novak and Jelena Djokovic

Last night, the most prestigious sports award, the 25th Laureus World Sports Awards , was awarded in Madrid’s Palacio de Cibeles, and the title of athlete of the year was won by the best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic. With 24 Grand Slams won and first place in the tennis ATP rankings, which he first occupied in July 2011. Đoković is regarded as the greatest tennis player of all time, and the prestigious Laureus award is the fifth in a row in his career.

Vogue Adria joined Novak and Jelena Djokovic in Madrid ahead of the big award ceremony, and the famous couple revealed what they’ll be wearing for the big occasion.

The famous tennis player chose for the Laureus World Sports Awards a classic and very elegant black suit from the Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli with a bow tie and a Hublot watch, and Jelena wore a dress by a respected Serbian fashion designer Dragana Ognjenović. Jelena completed the long black dress that revealed her shoulders with a Cartier necklace, rings and decent earrings.
