After Paris hosted audiences for Men’s Fashion Week, the runways of the French capital rolled out thrilling haute couture creations, and as is always the case, the refined visions for Spring/Summer 2026 by fashion houses such as Schiaparelli, Dior, and Chanel drew countless fashion insiders, editors, and stars from all corners of the world to Paris.
Just like on the runways, the City of Light was flooded with fashion, as trendsetters took to the streets in a wealth of striking outfits among which we noticed the dominance of two trends, fur and checks, fashion dictates that have been confidently ruling the scene for some time now. While tartan prevailed among check-patterned pieces, with the occasional kilt we wholeheartedly welcome, it was the colorful and playful dyed fur coats and vintage-inspired fur stoles that particularly caught our eye. As far as we are concerned, we love wearing these two trends at the same time.
