Milan street style we’re copying a few simple styling tricks from

by Tina Lončar

January 20, 2026

After Pitti Uomo filled the streets of Florence with its traditionally polished dandy outfits and set in motion a sequence of fashion events, the spotlight moved on to Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The fashion week in Italy’s fashion capital delivered plenty of excitement, from Ralph Lauren’s first exclusively menswear show in more than two decades, through Hudson Williams, the star of the hit series Heated Rivalry, who opened the Dsquared2 show, to the first runway presentation by the house of Giorgio Armani whose collection was not signed by Armani himself.

All of these events, along with many others, drew numerous celebrities, fashion insiders, editors, and influencers from around the world to Milan, who, as usual, served up a series of striking style moments. Although street style during men’s fashion weeks is nowhere near as spectacular or visually bold as during fashion weeks focused on women’s ready-to-wear, Milan’s trendsetters offered a range of wearable combinations that are easier to relate to and from which we can pick up the occasional simple yet effective styling trick. For example, the fact that even the smallest accent of bright red elevates any outfit, that a checked shirt tied around the waist is a grunge detail that remains timelessly cool, or that a tie looks surprisingly good when tucked into the waistband of trousers. Not to mention coordinated outfits.

Below, we bring you street style from Milan Men’s Fashion Week, photographed for Vogue by Acielle Tanbetova:
