The nineteenth issue of Vogue Adria is here
NOVI BROJDecember 12, 2025
The new, nineteenth issue of Vogue Adria, available from today at newsstands and in our webshop, is dedicated to all sides, faces, and dimensions of the night. Inspired by December, a month most often associated with the holidays but also with the longest nights of the year, the December issue of Vogue Adria brings fashion stories shot in darkness, songs and texts by regional female authors created at three in the morning, an exploration of clubbing, as well as stories about regional creatives who make Berlin, a city renowned for its nightlife, feel alive and vibrant. It also raises questions about how technology is redefining our nights and how night is represented in museum collections across the region.
The cover of the December issue features Erin O’Connor, one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry, a muse to designers such as Galliano, Gaultier, and McQueen, whom Karl Lagerfeld once described as one of the best models in the world. The British model and icon of modeling perfectly embodies the mystique of the night in look number 30 from designer Dilara Findikoglu’s Spring 2026 collection, for which she was recently awarded the prestigious Vanguard Award at the Fashion Awards 2025. Photographed by Douglas Irvine, with fashion by Taylor Angino, all images were shot at night, revealing night as a time when we can finally shed our daytime roles, rituals, and expectations, and surrender to celebration, mysticism, and our deepest longings.
For one of our night stories, we traveled to Berlin, a city known for its open mindedness, honesty, rebellious spirit, intensity, and uniqueness. Berlin’s creative scene is constantly flourishing, largely thanks to its multiculturalism, to which creatives of Balkan heritage make a significant contribution. Tina Lončar spoke with nine prominent figures from Berlin’s fashion scene, sharing stories of their career journeys, inspirations, and life in Berlin, as well as reflections on what makes the city so unique. The nighttime photography is by Boris Kralj, who has been building a successful career in fashion photography in this city for more than two decades.
Aleksa Jovanović spoke with curators and advisors from regional museums about works that best evoke the night, while Teodora Jeremić spoke with Bogomir Doringer and Samuel Douek about revolutions that can emerge from clubbing. Isabella Greenwood explored why we love “monsters,” while writers Barbara Delać, Olja Savičević Ivančević, Ana Marija Grbić, and Magdalena Blažević wrote about the night. Petar Trbović recapped the year behind us and reminded us of all the unforgettable fashion moments that defined 2025.
The December issue of Vogue Adria also brings a story on Matthieu Blazy, who speaks about his debut collection for the fashion house Chanel. Bojana Jovanović explores how the night, once a space and time of rest, has become yet another arena for multitasking, while Tina Lončar delves into the secret connection between fashion and the bed, sleep, and night. Kristina Mikulić Gazdović tried the innovative Welnamis treatment for relaxation of body and mind.
Desislava McIlwraith examines how the Blitz kids became the enfants terribles of Great Britain and claimed their honorary place in contemporary pop culture, while JasminaTV and David, among our favorite hunters of vintage treasures, in their first column for Vogue Adria, speak with Julie Kegels, a Belgian visionary who transforms the everyday into the poetic.
