Address: 2, rue des Récolettes, 13001 Marseille, France
Has anyone already told you that Marseille is a city you should visit as soon as possible? They have told us, which is why we warmly recommend it, and Hotel Amista, which opened this summer, might be the very reason to go. Located in the vibrant Noailles district, it presents a new destination for lovers of style, history, and Mediterranean charm. This boutique hotel is the result of the transformation of the former Hôtel Saint-Louis, and the name Amista means friendship in Provençal, reflecting the warm and welcoming atmosphere it offers its guests. It is housed in a 19th-century building, recognizable by its façade adorned with lion heads and wrought-iron balconies, telling a story of the city’s rich past. The interior was designed by the Dorothée Delaye studio and features a blend of authentic Provençal elements and modern details, creating a space that exudes elegance and comfort across its 24 rooms and suites, each with a distinct character. For those who want to experience authentic Marseille, Amista is a perfect choice.
Detail to remember: Located just steps from the legendary Vieux Port and Canebière, Amista is an ideal base for exploring Marseille’s historic center.
