Zagreb became Berlin for one night, and we can’t wait for what comes next

January 12, 2026

For some time now, the date February 6, 2026 has been firmly marked in bold in our calendars, and on that day the KIOSK conference will bring exciting content into our lives. Ever since I spoke with Leslie David, who is coming to Zagreb in February as a guest of the KIOSK conference, as one of many interesting speakers, it has been clear to me that the lineup of a conference set to change Zagreb’s marketing landscape is very strong.

The night side of the most anticipated conference

After the daytime program of the KIOSK Branding Conference had already been announced as one of the key gatherings of the regional creative scene, KIOSK revealed its night side last Friday in central Zagreb. For a moment, it felt like we were in Berlin, as Dirty Old Shop was transformed for one evening into a Berlin-style Späti, a familiar spot for casual gatherings over music and drinks. KIOSK AFTER DARK is the official night program which, on February 6, continues after the end of the daytime program at Lauba, starting at 9 PM at Zagreb’s Peti kupe. It is going to be exciting, something we already confirmed after the introductory event at Holographik, and now we have received a few extra details as well.

KIOSK AFTER DARK Details

The organizers have conceived KIOSK AFTER DARK as an addition to the main program, designed as an equal continuation of the conference in a different, club-oriented format. This is confirmed by top-tier global names: Detroit In Effect, Madam X, and Sun People, alongside local forces led by DJ SZCH and the duo Gammad FM. We will experience all of this very soon.

Gammad FM: Late-Night Conversations Without Protocol

The first two hours of KIOSK AFTER DARK are reserved for Gammad FM, a special live format hosted by the Yammat FM duo Daniel Bilić and Matko Antonović. Their radio show is known for its spontaneity, cultural curiosity, and unpredictability, and at Peti kupe it takes on a club version.

Gammad FM is neither a panel nor a DJ set, but an informal late-night space where conversations with international and regional conference speakers unfold alongside music, without scripts or conference protocol. The focus is on listening, networking, and warming up the atmosphere before the club takes over the rhythm.

The Lineup That Defines AFTER DARK: SZCH, Detroit In Effect, Madam X, Sun People

From 11 PM, KIOSK AFTER DARK turns Peti kupe into a club with a program that even Berlin would not be ashamed of. The club night opens with SZCH, a Zagreb-based DJ and producer whose sonic signature is woven into the very foundations of the conference through his authorship of the KIOSK sonic logo and complete sound identity. His hypnotic overture is followed by Detroit In Effect, a living legend whose sound is deeply rooted in the raw Detroit underground, with uncompromising electro and ghetto-tech rhythms designed solely to keep the dance floor in constant, frenetic motion. The central part of the night is taken over by Madam X, a British icon and founder of the influential KAIZEN label, known for dark, bass-heavy selections that masterfully blur the boundaries between techno and grime. The first edition of KIOSK AFTER DARK concludes with a performance by Sun People from Graz, delivering a polyrhythmic mix of footwork and jungle in a set that remains maximally active and unpredictable until the very end.

Night Program as Part of the KIOSK Experience

KIOSK AFTER DARK is conceived as the final act of the first edition of the KIOSK conference, where the conference experience concludes on the dance floor. Instead of a classic afterparty, AFTER DARK offers a curated night program that takes both conversation and music equally seriously, matching the quality of the daytime program.

Find out more about the lineup on the official KIOSK AFTER DARK page, while tickets for the KIOSK conference are available at kioskconference.com. We recommend regularly following KIOSK’s social channels, as a limited number of tickets for this unconventional and unmissable afterparty will be released there.

Did we mention that the documentary film K67 will premiere as part of the KIOSK conference? We did, but it is worth emphasizing that it tells the story of one of the most recognizable examples of everyday architecture in Europe, the modular kiosk designed in 1967 by Saša Mächtig. We are also looking forward to the panel featuring Vogue Adria editor-in-chief Milan Đačić.
