Every December I have the same crashout. I never have anything to wear for the endless stream of events, and I suddenly cannot find a single thing in online shops, vintage stores, or shopping malls that fits the outfit I imagined. It is a curious phenomenon, because I remember filling my online cart with cool pieces just a month ago, thinking I would buy them when I needed them, and now that I actually do, they have vanished. And this happens every year.

I am not sure if it is the December glamour, holiday frenzy, or my obsessive need to always wear a new outfit as if I had a personal stylist rather than just an overflowing closet, but by the end of the year I always feel like my clothes need to shine. This year, I am relying heavily on the styling tricks of our fashion editor Tina, who has truly simplified festive dressing by offering 5 outfits suited for every December occasion, and on the fact that the it girls have decided that one of the best looks of the season is surprisingly simple.
