If you’re not already familiar with the Australian actor, you certainly will be within a few months, given his impressive film record.

He quickly became a star thanks to his role as Nate Jacobs, the toxic boyfriend of the character Maddy, in the popular teen drama series Euphoria. He also caught our attention as Noah Flynn in the teen trilogy The Kissing Booth, which has been on air since 2018. on Netflix. The 26-year-old Brisbane-born actor is now dominating the big screen as one of cinema’s biggest talents, following in the footsteps of Timothée Chalamet, Paul Mescal, Austin Butler, Jeremy Allen White and Josh O’Connor.

After working along Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck in the psychological thriller Deepwater (2019), his list of feature films continues to grow, and this year we will have the opportunity to see him in several more titles alongside Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, in which he portrays the role of Elvis Presley. Here’s a look at five feature films of this year starring Jacob Elordi.

Following her directorial debut in the Oscar-winning Promising Young Woman , Emerald Fennell returned to the big screen with Saltburn, which she directed, wrote and produced. Having recruited the talented young star Jacob Elordi, as well as Rosamund Pike and Barry Keoghan, the British filmmaker decided to tell a story of obsession, privilege and desire, focusing on a big English aristocratic family in the 2000s. Emerald Fennell is well-placed to tell a story like this, as her father is the British jewelry designer Theo Fennell, “a high-society party regular” as he noted in his autobiography. Saltburn is available for streaming.

Priscilla by Sofia Coppola In Sofia Coppola's new film Priscilla, adapted from the 1985 memoirs of the King's famous wife, Jacob Elordi takes on the role of Elvis Presley, just a few months after Austin Butler's performance. Starring alongside American actress Cailee Spaeny, he plays a manipulative star who seeks to control his wife right down to the smallest details. He forces her to dye her hair black and apply more eye makeup, as well as dictating what she wears (bright colors, no prints and no brown as this reminds him of his time in the army). Priscilla opens in cinemas on January 3, 2024.
