Although the streets of the Danish capital were locked in snow and low temperatures, street style during Copenhagen Fashion Week was once again up to the task this season. The popularity of fur coats, as well as ushanka-style hats and warm scarves, came at just the right moment. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these trends also delivered a much-needed dose of warmth.

Some of the trendsetters were fairly bold in putting together their looks (yes, we are looking at everyone in sandals without socks!), but the majority, fortunately, opted for trendy accessories that both spiced up their styling and protected them from the cold. Long leather gloves as a symbol of vintage elegance, scarves in contrasting colours, and fur stoles played a leading role, much like oversized, statement fur hats and sweet bonnet caps that trendsetters tied around their ears in knitted versions. Scandi girls further elevated their winter outfits with the ever-popular pillbox hat in countless variations, as well as bright red bags that add a touch of freshness and distinctiveness to any look.
