A perfume that will delight anyone who loves fresh scents

Land art is not tied to a permanent object; it does not remain forever before our eyes. The creation process of this artistic discipline is connected to the act itself, time, and the artist’s physical presence in nature. The artistic intervention becomes a temporary mark in the landscape.

This approach is exemplified by the work of Simon Beck, a British artist who creates monumental geometric drawings by walking across snowy landscapes. On frozen lakes and untouched mountain expanses, he “draws” precise mathematical forms for hours using his own footsteps, a compass, and measured pacing. His works, as large as several football fields, last only until nature decides otherwise.

In that transience and dedication to the process, the House of Creed— a perfume house with a history spanning over 260 years—recognized itself in 2025. The collaboration with Simon Beck took place in the Xilingol region of northern China, where the artist imprinted a monumental visual homage in the snow to the Silver Mountain Water perfume and the iconic Creed logo, highlighting precision and respect for nature. Beck’s artistic works are the result of patience, physical endurance, and accuracy. This idea naturally aligns with Creed’s Millésime philosophy.

In the perfume-making process at the House of Creed, everything begins with the use of natural and rare ingredients carefully selected from around the world. In a small factory near Fontainebleau in France, these ingredients are processed through slow, handcrafted methods, without any rush.

Silver Mountain Water, one of the most recognizable fragrances from the House of Creed, was created as an ode to mountain air, with its crispness and clarity. Inspired by mountain springs and the openness of alpine landscapes, this fragrance unfolds through a crystalline composition of citrus, tea, and subtle woody notes, leaving an impression of purity, lightness, and quiet presence.

In a time when luxury is often measured by speed, visibility, and spectacle, this meeting of art and perfumery reminds us of different values: slowness, focus, craftsmanship, silence, and a connection with nature.

The collaboration with Simon Beck thus becomes more than a visual interpretation of a single fragrance. Imprinting the Creed logo into untouched snow does not feel like branding, but rather a poetic signature—ephemeral yet powerful. Perhaps this is where their greatest similarity lies: both the fragrance and the mark in the snow remain in memory longer than they physically last.

Creed SWM can be found in Belodore perfumeries in the Adria region.
