If you thought punk was dead, you’re sorely mistaken. Lambrini Girls are a new, young, female band from Brighton who have a lot to say and will make you want to listen to them immediately.

“You’re Welcome” is their first EP, they released it a little less than a year ago and since then they have been conquering music and sound spaces. What I listened to can only be described as an energetic, fast, dynamic martial arts match, this is a cascade, a combination of punk, metal and raw energy, the kind of energy I haven’t heard in a very long time. In addition to great and infectious music, Lambrini Girls deliver smart, sharp lyrics, lyrics that you won’t be humming (or rather screaming) just because they’re easy to remember. No, you will say them, as I used to say them with the song coming from the speakers, because simply – you have to. There is something irresistible, hypnotically attractive about their fierce music.

The singer Phoebe has a specific and recognizable voice, both energetic and stable, her scream is so good that it is music. Someone wrote in the comments on social networks that they are a combination of two cult bands: Spice Girls and Damned. And they couldn’t have described it better.
