The Ukrainian fashion industry is undergoing a true test of courage. Despite constant shelling and blackouts, designers continue to work, create jobs, and push forward. Today, almost all of them are present on the international stage, and we are proud to share their stories. On August 24, as the country marks Independence Day, it will also be four years since Ukrainian fashion designers have been creating under these difficult circumstances, emerging as a powerful voice of a nation fighting for its independence on the global stage.

KOCHUT Jewelry
Kochut Jewelry is a jewellery brand that brings ancient craft motifs to life through intricate filigree techniques. Founded in 2013 by three brothers, Yuriy, Roman, and Igor Kochut, the brand’s roots trace back to their school days, when they became fascinated with historical reconstruction of the Middle Ages and began experimenting with metal—learning to melt, forge, and mint tin, brass, and copper. “We don’t think about collections – we focus on creating specific jewellery. Maybe from a business point of view it’s wrong, but that’s how we feel,” says Yuriy Kochut. The brand also specializes in complex techniques, such as the unique Japanese Mokume-gane method. This traditional metalworking technique produces pieces with a distinctive wood-like pattern. The process is lengthy and requires exceptional skill and dedication, as every stage is performed manually.
