The tenth edition of Vogue Adria has arrived
NOVI BROJ
January 13, 2025
The new tenth issue of Vogue Adria, which is available from today at newsstands and in our webshop, is dedicated to winter, that time of year when everything stands still, waiting for spring to awaken once again. It is also a time for new beginnings, when we traditionally dive into deep reflections about our lives, making New Year’s resolutions for changes that should transform us into “new versions” of ourselves. As far as we’re concerned, winter can definitely begin!
This double issue brings as many as ten editorials that are perfect for enjoying the beauty and excitement of our fashion stories during the brief winter pause. In a major interview with Bojana Nikitović, we also delved into the fascinating world of costume design. With the esteemed costume designer, whose work spans numerous film and theater successes in the region and internationally, Tina Lončar talked about her rich career, her beginnings, how she transitioned from the theater stage to film, what lies behind costumes that leave a lasting impression on the audience, and her latest and incredibly challenging project, the hit series Dune Prophecy.
With the new year in mind, focusing on achievable beauty and wellbeing tips that encourage pleasure and change, with an emphasis on embracing our own (unique) traits, Kristina Mikulić Gazdović, in conversation with nine different experts, reveals what to focus on to unlock the full potential of your skin, hair, and body health. Sex educator Melissa Vranješ shared advice on how to cope with the challenges of modern life and not let them ruin our sexual well-being.
Nives Bokor spoke with Alden Wicker about the sustainability of the fashion industry and what to expect in 2025. Teodora Jeremić shared her list of “anti-romantic” films she definitely won’t miss, while Dino Bonačić writes about haute joaillerie as the last frontier of true luxury. Nives Bošnjak discusses the future of fur in fashion. We also bring you a major interview with Emma Corrin. Corrin is making waves with progressive acting, earning remarkable roles in Marvel blockbusters, horror classics, and in The Crown. We’ve explored both sides of the JOMO and FOMO phenomena, with Jordan Cvetanović and Dino Pešut offering their views. Meanwhile, Luna Lu takes on the challenge of explaining the “baby girl” type of man.
